About Us

GLYNN WASHINGTON - Host & Executive Producer

Before creating the Snap Judgment radio show, Glynn worked as an educator, diplomat, community activist, actor, political strategist, fist-shaker, mountain-hollerer, and foot stomper. Glynn composed music for the Kunst Stoff dance performances in San Francisco, rocked live spoken word poetry in Detroit, joined a band in Indonesia, wrote several screenplays, painted a daring series of self portraits, released a blues album, and thinks his stories are best served with cocktails.
Mark Ristich - Executive Producer

Mark Ristich founded Snap Judgment with Glynn. Mark records, writes, edits and produces for Snap Judgment and has no other interests.

Anna Sussman - Producer

Anna Sussman has been trying to report serious stories but really reporting on frivolity for the past nine years. She earned two masters degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, in Journalism and Human Rights, and founded Backpackjournalist.org with her husband, reporting stories on U.S military debacles, international war tribunals and man-eating crocodiles from 21 countries.  Anna comes to Snap Judgment from the wilds of the freelance jungle where she reported for CNN, Current TV, PRI and the San Francisco Chronicle. She also plays the banjo and can be spotted in a Thai sports drink commercial.

Pat Mesiti-Miller - Producer

Pat Mesiti-Miller is a phonetic fanatic, sonic sensationalist, and vinyl visionary. As a free-lance Sound Engineer and Artist, Pat has produced audio content for commercials, films, music records, and engineered a live comedy show for multiple seasons. Bringing the boom bap to snap, Pat produces and engineers with a beat. He heads his own hip hop production studio where he writes, records, and mixes original music. He makes beats, makes jokes, and makes a mean eggplant parmesan.

Renzo Gorrio - Producer

Growing up in the Suburbs of Miami, Renzo Gorrio had nothing to do but make music and rollerblade. His passion for creating music grew along with his home studio. After graduating from SAE Miami, recording bands in basements, garages and living rooms and scoring short films and cartoons filled the time between touring with his own band. After living in Portland, OR for 2 years, he moved to the bay area to further his involvement in music and media art.

Rita Daniels - Producer

Rita Daniels was raised off the grid in the Wild Wild West by a pack of hippies and Pueblo Indians. She thinks these unique circumstances might have something to do with her obsession with the oral tradition and her unyielding need to capture personal stories about the human experience.  Upon graduating from Emerson College for the Media Arts, Rita went to live in a cave in India. She's happy to be rejoining the world with the Snap Judgment Team.
Stephanie Foo - Producer and Music Editor

Stephanie Foo is willing to risk her life for your entertainment. For past articles, she has run through medieval battlefields, overshared about exes at a whiskey convention and duped cops while posing as a teenage runaway.  Her high school yearbook named her "Most Craziest," which explains a lot, namely the state of grammar instruction within our school system. She graduated hella cum laude from the University of California, Santa Cruz. When she's not finding stories, you can find her blogging, drawing comics, and searching for new music for the show.

Will Urbina - Video Producer and Tech Consultant

Since graduating in 2008 Will Urbina has spent most of his time secluded in his apartment entering contests through the internet.  During this period, he's had a commercial air on TV and stories about his work covered in blogs like Engadget and Gizmodo. A computer he built was even featured on the cover of CPU Magazine.  A self-proclaimed "Grand-Prize-Winning Enthusiast," his first job at Snap Judgment involved building a large hatch in one of the rooms of our new offices. He now focuses on producing video for our website and helping edit Snap Judgment's TV show.  Check out some of his other stuff at his website.
